Event Planning

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want a destination wedding to Italy. Maybe you want a large backyard wedding with all your family and friends. Or maybe you have an eccentric idea that’s never been done. Whatever it is, we want to encourage you and make it happen.

Full Service

Most luxury weddings or those with several moving parts will require a full-service planner as they are largely involved from the outset, planning months (or years) in advance by helping to acquire the venue, vendors, space, and decor. Day-of coordination is simply to make sure everything runs smoothly the day of. The best way to proceed is to decide which is best for you and what is in the budget.

Is Full Service right for you?

If you have a busy personal or professional schedule, then full-service wedding planning is a great option for you. There are much fewer limitations within this level of service, as our team will take on the full responsibility of all of the planning of the wedding. It can take an additional 10-20 hours a week to plan a wedding, so a couple must ask themselves, do they have the time to take on the time equivalent of a part-time job? And, being available during business hours will also need to be required as multiple emails, phone calls, and meetings will need to take place during the week, during the typical 9-5 hours. Wedding vendors are very busy on the weekends doing events, so they will do most of their ‘office work' and meetings during the week, and most of them have very limited availability during the weeknights, as they have families themselves.

Month-of Coordination

Month-of coordination is for couples working on a limited budget or those who are expert planners themselves and only need me to swoop in and execute everything! For month-of coordination, our team will be by your side for the last month or two leading up to your wedding to take on all the last minute details.

Is a Month-of Wedding Coordinator Right For You?

If you are organized and comfortable managing the majority of the wedding planning process, you may only want a month-of wedding coordinator. This is a great option for couples who are extremely hands-on and don’t want—or need—outside input. Keep in mind, you will be in charge of all of the logistics and design choices.

Why You Should Seriously Consider a Month-of Wedding Coordinator

No matter how together you are, the final weeks leading up to your wedding can be demanding. The RSVPs start flooding in, the vendors need details finalized, and the family inevitably has tons of questions. It’s enough to send even the most organized couple over the edge—and that’s before you add final beauty appointments, packing for your honeymoon, and last minute DIYs to the mix.

Leave the details to a coordinator, so you can do the things only you can do, such as write your vows, figure out who to put at what table, and get some sleep. A month-of wedding coordinator can do the rest.

What’s included in our month-of coordination package:

Everything included in our day-of coordination package plus much more!

Last Minute Planning

We offer up to four pre-wedding consultations, one venue visit, and bi-weekly updates to our month-of couples. As a part of month-of planning we can also take over RSVP managment, seating chart assistance, a master wedding day timeline, and vendor contract assistance.

Detail Familiarity

With Month-of Coordination we will give ourselves as much time as your wedding requires to become deeply familiar with all your wedding ideas and vision. Based on our experience 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding has been the sweet spot timeline wise, although some weddings may require more or less preparation. Our job is to let you know things you may have missed so they can be corrected prior to your wedding without causing any unfortunate calamities. We will take this extra time to comb through all the details of your wedding to see if there are any problems/ holes and how to fix them!

Master Timeline

Over the 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding we will create your timeline and think through where every guest, wedding party member, and vendor will be at all times, and then send this to all of your vendors and wedding party members. A wedding day is a production of sorts, and we know how to make it run smoothly by knowing who is doing what at all times. We create this timeline collaboratively with you, your venue/caterer, photographer, and any other important vendors, so that everyone has the time they need and you don't have to worry about things like when to do your hair and makeup and fit all of your photos in!

Day-of Coordination

Whether you opted to plan your own wedding or hire a professional, the odds are you're going to be overwhelmed when the day arrives. How can you be expected to get married and manage the logistics of your event? Enter: the day-of coordinator. Our talented team can take away stress and even hide problems that pop up so you can focus on enjoying your wedding guests and take in every moment of you wedding day.

Day-of Wedding Coordinator vs. Wedding Planner

A wedding planner is a person who works with the couple to plan their wedding months or years in advance. They book the caterers and the band, sketch out the vision with florists and the venue, and make sure invitations are sent out on time. Rather than do any original planning, a day-of wedding coordinator is responsible for making sure the vision and scheme are executed properly. They may not make the seating plan, for example, but they make sure place cards are numbered correctly and placed in the proper spot.

What’s included in our day-of coordination package:

Handling Logistics

Our primary job is making sure all the logistics of the wedding are handled. If there are 200 guests, for example, we will make sure there are 200 chairs at the ceremony and reception.

Sticking to Timelines

We will stick to your timeline for the day and make sure everyone, from your family to your vendors, stick to it. For example, if hair or makeup is taking longer than expected, we will step in to hurry up the process. We also make sure guests are seated on time to get the ceremony rolling, and that photographs are taken in a timely manner so you can get to the dance floor.

Communicating With Vendors

Our team will be the primary point of contact for all vendors. We will be the manager on duty, overseeing vendors' work and making sure they do their jobs according to what was contracted. All questions the vendors have can be fielded to our team so you don’t have to deal with them.

Solving Problems

One of the most challenging but important jobs of the day-of wedding coordinator is putting out fires and troubleshooting problems the day of or right before the wedding. If the bar runs out of tequila, if someone forgets the rings, if there is a power outage at the venue—our team will figure out what to do. Again, the goal is to take away all stress from you.
